Kimberly Williams, NCLMBT# 15900, is a graduate of The Healing Arts and Massage school since 2016. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She believes that every ‘body’ is unique and creates a custom massage using a variety of techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial release and some elements of Sports massage. She views the client as an active participant in their own recovery and healing. Her goal as a therapist is to assist in the process.
Kim Deep Tissue Approach : Deep Tissue massage can be uncomfortable at times, but it should never be painful. When massage provokes a pain response, the client is no longer able to focus on the breathing and visualization cues that are given to help facilitate a letting go in the musculature. I take time to warm up the musculature as this allows deeper access to the underlying tissues. I “listen” to the body and stay aware of both verbal /nonverbal cues from my client.
