Cupping Therapy* starting at $80 for 30 minutes
This modality moves stagnation by loosening tight musculature, softening fascia, and promoting circulation of blood and fluids of the body. By creating a partial vacuum, the cups affect the connective tissue and musculature, stimulate blood vessels and soften tissues.
Cupping can result in temporary circular marks that resemble bruises in the areas of application. They typically last a few minutes to a few days or up to a week, depending on how much stagnation there was the the area. This is a completely normal reaction and should be expected during a treatment.
*Contraindications for Cupping Therapy : Cupping should not be applied 48 hours before or 24 hours after chemotherapy treatment, cupping can not be done over an active skin lesion, moles, swelling, trauma, inflammation, infection, or burns (including sunburn), bleeding disorders and certain medications are contraindicated for cupping therapy, diabetes, neuropathies or other conditions that might limit a patient’s response to pain, reactive skin lesions such as keloid scarring or Köebner phenomenon. Cupping can interfere with cardiac pacemakers, should not be used on anyone taking blood thinners (including aspirin), or on anyone with any history of a clotting disorder.

Aromatherapy: Essential oils, the pure essence of a plant, have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits. Choose from 5 doTERRA blends : Lavender, Breathe, Balance, Serenity or Uplifting.
Facial Massage: Along with numerous skin benefits, facial massage also provides relief for stress, sinus congestion, and migraine headaches. Having facial massage on a regular basis can lead to firmer, more radiant skin by minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and releasing tension.
Warm Stones : Warm stones can be helpful in relaxing muscle tissue and feels soothing and calming to the nervous system.
Castor Oil Pack: A generous layer of castor oil is applied to the entire abdominal region and layered with a warm moist towel and a heating pad. Enhances circulation and promotes the healing of the tissues and organs of the abdominal tissues and organs. Improves liver function and digestion, relieves pain and reduces inflammation.

If you have any of the following contraindications, please let us know PRIOR to your appointment. Our massage staff reserves the right to refuse treatment per the NC Board of Massage. We may also request a statement from your doctor that states you are clear to receive massage & bodywork.
