Deep Tissue Massage (Looking for a pressure of 1-7 on a 1-10 scale)
Deep Tissue Massage utilizes medium to deep pressure and can be full-body depending on the length of the massage. Deep tissue is best used to receive relief from specific focus areas. The following can help you determine the amount of time needed:
30 minute ($75) – 1 focus area; often times a longer session is required for better relief
50 minute ($105) - 1 focus area
60 minute ($115) & 75 minute ($140) – 1-2 focus areas
90 minute ($170), 120 ($230) & 180 minute (upon request) – full-body AND 1-3 focus areas depending on the severity of the issue and whether you receive regular massage

Ashiatsu starting at $135 for 60 minutes (Looking for a pressure of 8-10 on a 1-10 scale)
Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure using their feet and body weight. The massage therapist alternates between using her hands and feet during the session.
Sports Massage starting at $125 for 60 minutes (Looking for a pressure of 8-10 on a 1-10 scale)
This massage is designed for the athlete and active individual. This is a combination of a deep tissue massage with light stretching to include some push and pull movements. It is not uncommon for the massage therapist to use a scraping tool if necessary.
Cupping Therapy* starting at $80 for 30 minutes (Looking for a pressure of 8-10 on a 1-10 scale)
This modality moves stagnation by loosening tight musculature, softening fascia, and promoting circulation of blood and fluids of the body. By creating a partial vacuum, the cups affect the connective tissue and musculature, stimulate blood vessels and soften tissues.
Cupping can result in temporary circular marks that resemble bruises in the areas of application. They typically last a few minutes to a few days or up to a week, depending on how much stagnation there was the the area. This is a completely normal reaction and should be expected during a treatment.
*Contraindications for Cupping Therapy : Cupping should not be applied 48 hours before or 24 hours after chemotherapy treatment, cupping can not be done over an active skin lesion, moles, swelling, trauma, inflammation, infection, or burns (including sunburn), bleeding disorders and certain medications are contraindicated for cupping therapy, diabetes, neuropathies or other conditions that might limit a patient’s response to pain, reactive skin lesions such as keloid scarring or Köebner phenomenon. Cupping can interfere with cardiac pacemakers, should not be used on anyone taking blood thinners (including aspirin), or on anyone with any history of a clotting disorder.
TMJ Massage starting at $75 for 30 minutes
Massage can help relieve tension and can be beneficial for managing TMD (temporomandibular disorders). It focuses on relieving muscle tension inter-orally around the TMJ, the jaw, face, neck, and shoulders, which can help reduce pain and improve mobility.
Choose from intra oral work exclusively, or add a neck and shoulder massage for a longer and more enjoyable massage. Available in 30, 60 or 90 minute durations
Swedish Massage starting at $75 for 30 minutes (ideal for someone looking for a pressure of 1-7 on a 1-10 scale)
Swedish Massage is a full body relaxation massage using light to medium pressure. Please schedule a Deep Tissue Massage If you require focused work on one or more areas.

Lomi Lomi Massage Starting at $135 for 60 minutes (ideal for someone looking for a pressure of 1-6 on a 1-10 scale)
Hawaiian LomiLomi Is a traditional holistic healing practice often called “Loving Hands”massage using long, flowing, rhythmic strokes primarily with forearms and elbows to treat the body, mind and spirit. It helps increase circulation, release energy blockages. promotes deep relaxation through nurturing techniques that often mimic ocean waves. It is highly intuitive work. Generally sesame or almond oils are used but Wellville offers a hypo-allergenic oil, if preferred. Offered in duration of 60, 75, and 90 minutes.
Lymphatic Massage starting at $85 for 30 minutes (ideal for someone looking for a pressure of 1-6 on a 1-10 scale)
Lymphatic drainage massage Is a gentle, specialized technique that uses light pressure and rhythmic circular Motion to move, trapped protein-rich lymph fluid out of the tissue. It reduces swelling, promotes detoxification, improves circulation, and supports the immune system. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) acts as a manual pump, and helps minimize post procedure swelling by de-congesting the lymph nodes. It can help reduce edema that can occur after injury or surgery. Continued applications of lymphatic drainage while the client is healing can help enhance tissue regeneration and reduce scarring.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Lymphatic drainage massage is contraindicated in conditions where an increase of lymph flow would be detrimental such as acute inflammation, malignant tumors, thrombosis and major heart problems. You must be at least 4-6 weeks post-surgery to receive massage. A doctor’s note is required for any cosmetic surgery.

Thai Massage is an ancient, holistic healing practice that combines acupressure, Ayurvedic principles and assisted yoga-like stretches. The hands, knees, elbows and feet are used to gently manipulate and stretch. This can be performed with clothes or minimal clothing and appropriate draping. This massage helps with enhanced flexibility, pain reduction, improved blood circulation and stress relief.
Reiki-ssage starting at $115 for 60 minutes (ideal for someone looking for a pressure of 1-6 on a 1-10 scale)
A soothing combination of Reiki energy work and Swedish Massage. Reiki-ssage is a unique service to Wellville. You are unlikely to find this combination of modalities anywhere else!
Mini-Treatments and ADD-Ons (additonal $25-40)

Dry Skin Brushing: Aids in sloughing dead skin cells. increases nutrient absorption, improves cell renewal, increases lymphatic circulation, energizes the nerve endings near the skin’s surface and improves overall appearance of your skin.
Hand/Foot Reflexology: The practice of applying pressure to the feet and hands utilizing specific thumb, finger and hand techniques based on a system of zones and reflex areas that affect physical changes in the body.
Scalp Massage: In addition to feeling wonderful, scalp massage can provide headache relief, increased circulation to the scalp and improve your sense of well-being and sleep quality.
Aromatherapy: Essential oils, the pure essence of a plant, have been found to provide both psychological and physical benefits. Choose from 5 doTERRA blends : Lavender, Breathe, Balance, Serenity or Uplifting.
Facial Massage: Along with numerous skin benefits, facial massage also provides relief for stress, sinus congestion, and migraine headaches. Having facial massage on a regular basis can lead to firmer, more radiant skin by minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and releasing tension.
Hot Stones : Hot stones can be helpful in relaxing muscle tissue and feels soothing and calming to the nervous system. Allow the warmth, weight and hypnotic gliding of warm river stones to soothe tired muscles. The heated stones are used in conjunction with either Swedish or Deep Tissue massage techniques to support the tissue in softening and relaxing.
Castor Oil Pack (Colon Hydrotherapy): A generous layer of castor oil is applied to the entire abdominal region and layered with a warm moist towel and a heating pad. Enhances circulation and promotes the healing of the tissues and organs of the abdominal tissues and organs. Improves liver function and digestion, relieves pain and reduces inflammation.

If you have any of the following contraindications, please let us know PRIOR to your appointment. Our massage staff reserves the right to refuse treatment per the NC Board of Massage. We may also request a statement from your doctor that states you are clear to receive massage & bodywork.
