Is Nutrition Counseling right for me?

At Wellville, we treat everyone as an individual and understand the importance of tailoring nutrition recommendations based on what your body needs.

A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a nutrition expert who has been highly trained to assess your diet and help you make changes to improve your health. Research has shown that individuals who work with a dietitian are likely to reach their goals faster than those who do not.

An RD can help with complaints such as poor digestion/absorption, constipation, low energy, pain and more! Athletes and pregnant women looking to achieve optimal health will also benefit as each appointment also includes nutrition education.

Those who have recently been diagnosed with pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc can benefit from receiving medical nutrition therapy. This is specific nutrition advise that improves health biomarkers.

Individual appointments are designed to give you personalized nutrition guidance on your health. Appointments MUST be made at least 24 hours in advance to complete initial paperwork. This allows for the most thorough review of your health history which enables the dietitian to make personalized recommendations.

Studies show that it can take up to 6 weeks to make healthy lifestyle changes. Booking follow up appointments are essential for successful nutrition care.

  • Prenatal Nutrition - Learn the ins and outs of the nutrition needed to foster the growth of a healthy baby. This appointment is for anyone 0-40 weeks pregnant.

  • Preconception/Fertility Nutrition - This appointment is perfect for those wanting to get pregnant, or having trouble conceiving. Providing the body with the right amount of nutrients fosters a healthy environment for a baby.

  • Weight Loss - Weight loss is not easy to do on your own. Working with a dietitian can help you learn proven strategies to lose weight and keep it off. We will help you determine a healthy weight and teach your healthy ways to improve your weight.

  • Diabetes/Hypertension Nutrition - Learn foods to eat that will help improve labs like hemoglobin A1c, fasting blood glucose, blood pressure and others.

  • Healthy Aging - As we age, our body has different requirements. Learn the nutrients you need to age gracefully.

  • Sports Nutrition - Learn what to eat before, during and after working out, practice or a game. This appointment is perfect for those who train like an elite athlete or the weekend warrior

    Initial Appointments: $140 for 60 minutes

    Follow Up Appointments: $80 for 30-40 minutes

    Nutrition package: $200 for 1 initial appointment and 1 follow up (must be booked at the same time)

    All first time customers and initial nutrition appointments require a 50% deposit at the time of scheduling
